Dead branches and leaves in your yard aren't just unappealing.  They can also affect the overall health of your lawn.     

Boxwood shrub/tree caterpillars are becoming a problem on Cape Cod!  They cause most of their damage between March and October. 

Horticultural oils work well to control insect pests.  Treating in early spring can save time and avoid later plant problems.    

Cool season grasses are often mistaken for crabgrass or weeds.  

When humidity levels are too high or there is a lack of air circulation, this can lead to a variety of diseases.    

Shallow surface watering discourages deep root development which is needed for healthy lawns.

Don’t scalp your lawn!!!

Cut no more than one-third of the total growth each time you mow.  

The heat of summer has passed, but your lawn still needs water.  

 During the fall and winter, your trees and shrubs need to develop reserves of nutrients in their root systems.  

Trees and shrubs need protection from winter dehydration, windburn and the loss of essential nutrients.
